Bond. James Bond.

I'm at dinner with two fifth grade boys both of whom are going through a huge James Bond phase. They just posed to me one of life's most critical questions: what is your favorite James Bond movie? And who's the best Bond? After some introspection I've decided my favorite is The Man with The Golden Gun. And Sean Connery. Definitely Sean Connery.

Your opinions on this matter would be greatly appreciated by the Boys.

Definitely Connery. If I were to choose a Moore film, it would be Live and Let Die not The Man with the Golden Gun. My favorite is Goldfinger:

JB: "Do you expect me to talk?"
AG: "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die."

Plus Ms. Galore, Oddjob, and the Masterson sisters.

Oh, please. Daniel Craig is the baddest Bond ever. He won me forever when he told the guy whipping his bare private parts to shift "to the left" in order to satisfy an itch.

"Everybody's going to know you died scratching my balls!"

Can you be any cooler than that? I don't think so.

Connery was my favorite before Daniel Craig. The new reset movies have really brought me back to the detective/spy parts of the Ian Fleming novels that I enjoyed most as a kid.

Each Bond has its standout movie, but for me it's because of the bad guy:
Goldfinger: Aric Goldfinger
A View to a Kill: Max Zorin (Christopher Walken)
License to Kill: Sanchez
Tomorrow Never Dies: Elliot Carver (Jonathan Pryce)
