Ice Skating

This just about killed me today: I took the kids ice skating at the local recreation center. Only it wasn't on ice, but rather some sort of "environmentally friendly" alternative. That, in a nutshell, perfectly characterizes Marin County, CA.

who are these "friends" who think it is a good idea for you to try 12marathons in 12 months. they might be after your job or wife or kids.would doing fewer make you less accomplished? how about 15 or 20 then? there is too much else to do in this life. travel with the kids, wife,friends comes to mind easily. think.gs
