Hunting Newts

We went to Audobon Canyon Ranch yesterday in West Marin. It's an incredibly beautiful nature preserve that sits on the foot of Bolinas Lagoon. Ironically enough the only other family there was our close friends. We had a blast hiking, birding (Bolinas Lagoon is a major site for migratory birds) and fishing for newts and frogs. No better way to spend a day than hunting for newts.
